1.Invest in a good lip balm.

Head down to your local drugstore and look at the lip care section. Have a look at all the lip balms. There's your flavoured, unflavoured, sunscreen, aloe vera, lip balm in pots, lip balm in tubes and much more. If you want a flavoured lip balm, pick one you know you'll enjoy the taste of. Choose whatever you think is best for you. 

2.Exfoliate your lips.

Get a face washer and dampen it. Wrap it around your index finger and gently massage over your lips. After about a minute, your lips should be softer and less flaky. 

3.Apply your lip makeup.

Put a bit of lip balm on first. Less is more! Fold a tissue in half and press your lips on it. This will remove any excess. Next, apply clear lip gloss. Again, blot with the tissue. Don't use lipstick if you are under 15, it will look tacky! 

4.Be soft and brilliant in the outside world.
